Samsung released the official Android Oreo 8.0 update to the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus a few weeks back and the users who have signed up for the beta update program are now receiving the third beta update from Samsung.
Currently the Android Oreo 8.0 Beta 3 update is available only for the Samsung S8 Plus devices and it has been released with the build number G955FXXU1ZQKG and it has been released only for the SM-G955F variants of the device.
However the source file for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Android Oreo 8.0 Beta 3 Update is not in the form of a flashable file or a zip file where you could flash it from the ADB on your PC or use the install option on TWRP. The file was extracted in the form of a backup dump file which means you can use the custom TWRP recovery to restore your Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to a version of Android Oreo Beta 3.
So before you proceed with the installation process, be sure to take a complete backup of the current stable version of your device just in case to restore it if something happens. Also, remember that this update is only for the Global variants of the S8 Plus device SM-G955F. So, don’t try installing it on any other S8 Plus variants as you might end up bricking your device.
