LG released the new software update for LG V30 with a couple of bug fixes and the latest Android November security patch. currently, the update is only released for unlocked LG V30 devices variant with Android 7.1.2.
If you own LG V30 (H930) unlocked variant with Android 7.1.2, then you may soon receive the update anytime. The update will be rolled out over-the-air (OTA) and weighs about 500MB. Installing this update your device will get the latest Android November security patch and improves the device functionality and usability.

Many users already receiving the OTA update notification. If you own an LG V30 Unlocked variant then you can manually check for the update. Go to Settings –> General –> About phone. If you don’t see any update on your device, then you have to wait for few days, as the update is rolling out in phase manner, it may take a couple of weeks to reach all corners of the world. Make sure that your device is connected Wi-Fi network to avoid data charges. The software v10v-EUR-XX version tagged with the build number N2G47H.
LG V30 may soon receive Android Oreo. As LG company is testing Android Oreo update on LG V30, recently Android Oreo update first beta update in Korea. If you would like to test the new software you have to sign up for the Android Oreo beta program.
